On the eve of our match v Waiters away we got a weird call from St
Andrews saying that they had somehow `mixed up` our kit from the laundrettes when they went to collect their own but for some
reason known only to them they went and played their Saturday match in our kit !!!!
Apparently they didnt think about driving the 2 mins from Saville Park back down to
the laundrette to take it back and get their own.......no, they decided to play in OUR KIT !!!!!
The same brand new kit that weve only used 3 times and that Scot just bought for hundreds
of pounds.
Honest mistake they said, errmmm no i dont think so, its our kit and basically its
theft and were lucky we got it all back intact as if the odd shirt had been missing then the whole kit would have been ruined.
As it happened were just a couple of pairs of socks down.
We know exactly what happended, St Andrews had a kit clash with the opponents and decided
to nip down to the laundrettes to see if there were any kits down there from teams that they knew used the same laundrette
and its no suprise that they took our kit as some of the St Andys players used to play for us.
We were lucky that at least Chris Redhead had the decency to go and get it washed first
thing Sunday morning or we wouldnt have had an intact kit to play in.
But at the end of the day what they did was pathetic and childish as well as theft
of property and it left the laundrette in a awkward situation as we were on the phone demanding to know what was going on.
Bang out of order guys if you are reading this, ive never known anything like this
happen before and you should know that all our lads are well pissed off with it especially Scot who didnt have to buy our
club a kit and he has spent a lot of money so deserves a bit more respect than what St Andrews showed to him, the laundrette
and Falcon Pine FC.
