PROBETS WINS IT 4 PINE
Waiters Arms 2 Falcon Pine 4
(Waiters, Pearson 1 Wood 1 - Falcon Pine, Probets 4)

Young Adam Probets grabbed all 4 goals to win a close game for Falcon Pine to put his team back in the promotion frame as they moved up to 4th equal in division 2.
With the rest of the division on cup duty it was important that Falcon pick up all 3 points but they did so with an indifferent performance which almost provided a shock win for relegation threatened Waiters Arms.

It was the Waiters that took a deserved lead after 5 minutes through Lee Wood after sloppy play allowing him to prod the ball home.
Pine stepped up their play largely through the efforts of wide midfielders Chapman and Allinson but were dealt a blow when centre half Craig Smith went off injured early into the game leaving Jonny Brownridge to hold the Pine back four together with a fine personal performance.
Following excellent work by Chapman it was Probets that raced through to score from an acute angle and he poached his 2nd shortly before halftime as he hassled Andy Pearson into an error and took the ball off him.

Star forward Matt Holroyd limped out of the action 5 minutes into the 2nd half with a muscle strain and Pine seemed to lose their way for a while as a result.

But it was Andy Pearson who made up for his error by equalising in bizarre fashion as a clearance from a Pine defender canonned off Pearson`s backside and into the net !

But with just ten minutes to go the Pine manager decided to throw a defender up front and switched captain Steve Scholey  to the right wing and it paid off as Pine scored the winner after a pinpoint  pass from Bartle allowed Probets with the speed of a greyhound to race through and score a trademark Adam Probets goal.

And the rookie forward finished the game off in the last minute as he made an opening for himself before slotting home to leave the Waiters Arms players devastated.
